October 13, 2017 – Atlanta, Georgia– The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority own and operate the Cobb Galleria Centre and Galleria Specialty Shops in Atlanta. Three parking decks, consisting of over 2,000 spaces serve the area. To better manage their inventory for visitors to the campus, the Authority has opted to monetize their parking operations. Amano McGann and distribution partner ITR began installing a new parking access and revenue control system earlier this year and the project will be completed this winter.

ITR will install Amano McGann entry and exit terminals and central pay-on-foot stations that accept pre-issued parking passes, validations and credit cards. “The Cobb Galleria Center required a system with the flexibility to support multiple validation and pre-payment options,” explained Vice President of Sales for ITR Sam Tupman. Parking passes are created using eFlexPass®, are printed or emailed and presented on the patron’s smartphone, and are scanned by Amano McGann’s FlexScan QR400® barcode readers. Validations are created using eParcVal® which allows facility operators to easily apply validations for reduced parking fees directly to a patron’s entry ticket to be used at the exit. Tupman continues, “To add an additional layer of convenience, patrons will also be able to use the Parkmobile app to reserve and pay for parking before events.”
